Our Story, Our Why
Every family deserves a soft place to land.
SonderNest Collective was born from that simple truth and the belief that care should never depend on circumstance.
We began with a question: What if every parent felt seen, supported, and celebrated as they began their journey?
From that question grew a vision of community where families in transition could find both practical help and genuine connection.
We started small, collecting donations, hosting drives, and planning the first community baby showers. But our dream has always been larger than the programs themselves. It is about restoring a sense of belonging, one family at a time.

Nest represents the safety, warmth, and care that allow those stories to begin.
Together, SonderNest reflects our belief that when communities recognize one another’s stories, we can create spaces where every family feels supported and every child is welcomed with love.

Who We Are Today
SonderNest Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of Oregon, working to build sustainable, community-led support for families.
Our early efforts center on three core initiatives:
Community Baby Showers that celebrate new beginnings with essentials and joy.
Essential Needs Support that delivers comfort and care directly to families facing tough transitions or hardships.
Diaper Bank that will provide free diapers, wipes, and hygiene items to help ease the daily burdens families face. This program will launch early 2026.
Every gift, partnership, and volunteer hour helps this vision take root and grow.
Looking Ahead
The path forward is built through connection. As we grow, we are working to strengthen partnerships with local organizations, healthcare providers, and small businesses that share our belief in community care.
Together, we can make sure every parent begins their story with stability, confidence, and hope.
